The bushes have great growth strength and good fruiting potential. The form shows high yield and good cluster formation. The clusters are large, weighing 700–1200 g, attractive marketable appearance. The flower is bisexual, pollination is stable. The berries are very large, weighing 20–25 g and more, according to observations they can reach even larger sizes. The color of the berries is saturated burgundy-blue. The pulp is dense, fleshy-crisp, with a high accumulation of sugar. The taste is harmonious, rich, pleasant, which makes Pompeii one of the interesting dark-colored forms of Kalugin's selection. The berries have good resistance to cracking and retain a beautiful presentation.
